Hiroyuki Yamamoto is a Professor in the Department of Sciences and Biosphere Resources at the School of Agricultural Sciences, Nagoya University, Japan. He holds a PhD in Agriculture from Nagoya University, a PhD in Engineering from Yamanashi University, Japan and a postdoctoral degree from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in Brazil. He was a visiting professor at the University of Montpellier, France (2007-2008) and at the Federal University of São Carlos (2013-2015). Hiroyuki Yamamoto has wide experience in growth stress and wood physics.
